About Me

April 13, 2012
By Tony in

I’m a security generalist with about 18 years of experience doing IT, 7 or so in security. I’m pretty well balanced between technical and business oriented skills but definitely much prefer geeking out on the latest ‘sploits. I’ll be using this space to talk about 0-days I discover, new techniques I want to share and anything else I want to vent about. I promise not to cry about girl problems, getting my feelings hurt or any other stupid shit drama like some security wanks I know. I also don’t use a ‘nym because it’s pretty pointless building a personal brand when you have to apply for jobs as ’1337h4x0r’. I outgrew that shit years ago. If you have reasons to hide your identity, I can respect that, but hey, I’m not you.

I don’t claim to be an expert at anything so feel free to tell me I suck, am a moron, need to get a life, etc. It’s the internet. I really don’t give a shit about you but if you have something constructive to say I’m not afraid to admit it when I’m wrong. Any content posted here is for my exclusive use unless otherwise noted. If you want to use anything please do me the courtesy of sending me an email to ask permission first but linking to my content is fine by me, no permission required. If you don’t ask for permission at least attribute the original work to me clearly in your work. I may sometimes violate this rule as I forget to ask permission but I ALWAYS attribute the original author.
